"Ethereal" is a film inspired by Jorge Issac’s poem “Ve, Pensamiento” (Go, Thoughts), in which he discusses the importance of freeing oneself and fostering creativity, allowing continuous dreaming and unrestrained freedom, as death eventually comes for us all.

We are often met with difficult decisions in life and with those decision possible outcomes leading to ''what if'' scenarios that play out in our minds. We second guess ourselves and wonder. The story follows a young dancer that sacrifices her time, energy, and social life to pursue a choice that a times has her seeing in her mind eye an alternate version of herself; a version of herself that followed a different path. As the story concludes we see our dancer alone onstage. In the audience her alternate self sits and is awe inspired. the look of content and satisfaction washes over the dancer as her ''what if'' scenario disappears.
